New Brand, Same Legacy. Toronto Kiwanis Boys and Girls Clubs is officially BGC Toronto Kiwanis. Not to be trendy. Not because it’s shorter or catchier. But because Clubs across the country open their doors to all kids and teens and we believe our brand should reflect that.
Removing gender from our name modernizes the BGC brand and echoes theinclusive practices we are known for, without straying too far from our history and brand awareness. It also embraces the fact that we serve young people of all ages, backgrounds, and identities.
100 years of creating opportunities for thousands of kids and teens inthe Regent Park and Trinity Bellwoods communities.
We know it’ll take some time to get used to our new name. Inthe meantime, we will continue the work that truly defines us – and we know this is only possible thanks to incredible supports just like you.
Our national team has created a BGC brand video – check it out below.
