Black History Month

Black History Month is the time to celebrate and highlight black history and culture! This year, Study of African American Life and History ((ASALH), the official promoter of Black History Month has chosen the theme “Black Resistance”, towards an effort to reframe the conversation about Black history around a theme of empowerment. Black history acknowledgement is a time for all Canadians to reflect and educate ourselves and celebrate their accomplishments and the continued fight for liberation.
