About Us

Opportunity Changes Everything.

For the last 100 years, BGC Toronto Kiwanis (BGCTK) has played a life-changing role in children, youth, and families in the Regent Park and Trinity Bellwoods communities. We pride ourselves in being a leading provider of quality programs and offering transformative experiences that are affordable, accessible, and reliable.

Since 1921, our Club has been dedicated to working with and enhancing the lives of children, youth, and their families. We provide the building blocks for creating healthy, and civically engaged young people. BGC Toronto Kiwanis operates six program sites serving families in Cabbagetown, St. James Town, Regent Park, Moss Park, Riverside, and West Queen West

During our time, we have served over 50,000 young people – 1,300 annually and 525 daily serving over 126,200 nutritious meals and logging 299,250 program hours. Each of our Clubs are at the heart of our communities – with innovative programming that addresses and meets the changing needs of the members that we serve.

Children and youth participate in challenging activities that encourage healthy living, personal growth, learning and community involvement. We build self-esteem through supportive adult mentors and engaging activities that challenge and enrich the mind, body, and spirits of each young person.

Programs and activities are centred on:

Literacy and Learning | Cooking & Nutrition | Physical Activity | Creative Arts | Personal Development

Belonging to the BGC Toronto Kiwanis can be life changing. We inspire children, youth, and families to achieve their dreams and grow up to be healthy and successful individuals.
